There's a Chink on Exhentai called 114514beastman who reports importers to Pixiv.

Pixiv is able to detect importers because Kemono makes a post available right after reading it.

Solution?

Do the whole import thing, but only let new/updated files appear on the site between 8 PM UTC and 11 PM UTC.

on fantia, you have to be subscribed to buy the posts individually and you have to be subscribed to access those posts.

what happens if a fanbox artist has three tiers and you subscribe to the most expensive tier and then stop?

This experience has sobered me so hard that while I will establish a new Pixiv account with a new, made-from-scratch email, I'm only doing it AFTER I take a sabbatical from Pixiv in general (like two weeks at least to a month at most).

And even then, I'm only gonna follow Fanbox artists and support them WITHOUT importing posts myself.

I'll still use Kemono to keep track of my favorites in case real life gets in the way, but beyond that, I'm officially retiring from importing.

thanks for importing btw. i honestly don't think there are many importers on kemono.

if i was fanbox and wanted to know who is importing, i would log the updated creator list and see which account accessed those creators in the past 15 minutes or so.
