simplex is nonworking unusable garbage, picrelated, can't join the chat. even when i can, any groupchat runs slower than dialup connection. has been the norm for simplex at least since early 23.
presumably, this could be fixed by running your own smp server, but this is a huge liability.
the best alternative i know is status-im. web3 bs could be just ignored, and runs almost ok.
