I have to imagine all these dickheads spam abusing the API to post the same fucking thing over and over is at the root of this. Literally search Posts for any normal first name and it's just a block of the same image same spammy "advertisements"…. I'm assuming implementing a method to prevent these bulk imports is one reason the site isn't being updated. The solution also needs a retroactive purge of all that bullshit too, which from that perspective I think the community would gladly flag those posts for deletion and self moderate .. which should reduce server spend. I'm not a tech guy but that shit is clearly jamming up servers and creating a bunch of unnecessary storage waste… Would be happy to actively mark posts as garbage while browsing to help even if just a little
