>>5651>>5652beats me, at least one admin (implying there's even an admin "team" >1 person anymore) is active on the kemono boards but hasn't peeped on coomer in months atp. can't speak personally to how kemono has done re: imports and streaming because i'm not a 2d fapping faggot but seems like the importer is hit or miss over there too.
this site used to be the grail, but i'd wager that the people who run it nowadays got handed a bunch of legacy code and infrastructure, hardly know how any of it works, and are gatekeeping anybody with the brains and interest to make it not suck ass

With how much bad gateway threads available, I am not surprised that mods and admins are not monitoring this sub page, potentially not seeing the concerns. On the other end, they probably know the issues and are trying to understand the best next steps.
I can tell there are some actions being done, which unfortunately doesn't impact most files. However, I feel it has become more shots in the dark to know which page has contents that can be viewed / downloaded. Even for pages that are recently updated now shows both the gateway error and the "reach specific file size and view / download don't progress further, always get rejected".
I don't know anything about servers, but from my experience, usually a restart helps. It may be easier said than done in knowing the bigger picture impact. I just wish the admins provide any sort of communication of what's going on, or if the servers are just being left to die.
Lastly, I feel the import for this site is improving, potentially riding on the same wave as what the admins are doing for Kemono uploader.
Admins, I know all of you are probably still deep in the issues left and right since the upgrade. You can always let the community know how we can help.

>>5677502 Bad Gateway means that there is a config issue that needs to be corrected because the webhost can not reach a resource/proxy/DB/DB is hung up & locked/nginx worker hung/php hung/service stopped or vm got put in sleep mode/paused. (common in azure)
I work with nginx daily & on my site. Running "sudo nginx -t" (test configs command) will likely tell you the problem.
Again how to get admin access to help ? @anyone ?

>>5679I am not sure if kemono and coomer share the same backend layout, but I know admins have shared it on this thread. Hopefully it links :) >>8965
Adding to what was shared, I remember reading in this subpage about changing *.su to *.party when downloading. I don't see any difference in being able to get files that can't be downloaded (gateway error, or gets rejected at a certain point). The *.party route is worse because if a file download fails due to connection dropped, you are unable to resume download and will always be rejected.
I am more skilled in testing which is why I try to document as much as I can with my observations.

>>5679I found these in their contact page, and the API contact page.
contact@kemono.ru
contact@kemono.party
You can try shoot them an email. But seems like they can choose not to respond and you won't know they got it.
"Please allow up to 3-5 working days for your request to be processed. You may not receive a response if we are not interested."
Best of luck.

>>5679Looks like my initial response got filtered having email addresses. You can check the bottom part of Home in coomer page for Contact and API. Both would have info how to contact the admins, if its still updated.
Best of luck.

>>5679Hi;
If you got 500 Internal Server Error from link; no solution; but if you got 403 Forbidden error
I have tried to change server, suppose URL starts with; "n2.coomer.su" I have tried n1.*,n3.*, n4.*
and it's worked when I tried with "n3" server; I have modified dumped URL links, changed as n3 to server field and re-added them to Download Manager, now seems many of them downloading without any problem.
Thanks
