Hello since the importer is down and it may never be fixed I am here asking if anyone knows any good alternatives to coomer that work the same way and updates are pretty frequent, forums sites don't count

Then Coomer and Kemono came.
There will be an alternative, one that is better maintained, maybe even with an admin that at least gives us an ETA, instead of just letting us stew with zero communication (and yet, for some reason, hosts a Chan…)

I mean, let's be real: Kemono and Coomer are nothing special in theory - it's just a database of videos, pictures and textposts fed by an importer that relies on users submitting their session keys.
The hard part is keeping the importer going in spite of OnlyFans/Fansly/Patreon/etc. trying to stop it from working, making sure it all scales nicely with the users, and getting people to submit their session keys.

And there are working scripts out there already for the scraping part.

remember, both started before covid and existed through covid and as onlyfans and fansly started blowing up as options for quick cash, many creators blinked in and out of existence for various reasons

essentially it's the same reason people lamented Xtube dying so suddenly, this is the only place for many videos and posts because the creators arent around anymore, the video didnt circulate, or the creator has proper paywalled their old content if not simply deleted it themselves

there is at least a few creators that have died so nothing else exists

Even free content needs to be archived by everyone to stay there. It can disappear at any time and shit never fails to bring a smile to my face when someone finally finds out there's been a huge free stash under their nose while they were too busy noticing because they wanted gated content.

And when they get their eyes off all that gated crap, guess what? It's gone because everyone else was too busy focusing on paid content! Hilarious.
