The issue with "AI" artists I think is 2 fold.
1) Many are not really artists, in general they are just money skimmers, $100 input to generate $1 of compute time, 99% profit

AI tags are the solution to people wanting to avoid AI art because it is bad. That isn't the reason people are asking for the tags.
People want the tags to keep AI art from being seen BY OTHER PEOPLE because they believe that it is immoral, not because it is actually bad. It won't do that job because people who lack consciousness of the badness of AI art will ignore the tag.
