An absolute failure on Kemono's behalf. Question is, would they be willing to seek redemption?

>>54752I noticed some people are trying to put up unofficial request threads.
People, right now, we don't need attempted request threads, we need SubscribeStar, and Kemono's ability to import artists from that site (especially those who are mainly or are only based there) with no strings attached and no bullshit!

>>56032Well Kemono needs to create some sort of solution, before other websites begin replicating the SubscribeStar model and throw Kemono out of business. Seriously, it could start with a site (e.g. Patreon) getting a kick up the arse, and then other sites take note and follow suite.
Jesus, is this a funding issue? Is a solution simply too expensive? Or does it require some technology that won't exist for another 10-20 years? Because if these other website realise they have the upper hand over Kemono, they'll finish what SS started.

>>56056even if you give the admins zillion amount of us dollar, SS is unlikely to return
maybe if you really want to support them, just find a way to circumvent the security
because even if you give the admin with money, they would outsource the coding to someone else who might not knowing what you all real issue is

>>54752I found a way to scrape SubscribeStar, it's Alessandro-Gobbetti/IR (
https://github.com/Alessandro-Gobbetti/IR ) (It's a web scrapping app built on MERN stack). To run it, you will have to download the code to your computer, open it in vscode and run the backend and frontend server using the terminal. Read the readme file, its very well documented. There is a "how to run" header which explains how to setup and run the servers.

>>56032Just do it the /g/ way. I know niggas who do web scraping with a virtual machine, proxy, VPN, etc…
You could probably ask how to get around that on /g/ or just ask AI.
