I remember there used to be request sticky where requesting was allowed, but I can not find it?

 No.60375

It became >>45215 for obvious reasons.

Places you should request on instead:
https://reddit.com/r/YiffParty2
https://boards.4chan.org/r/
https://f95zone.to

Or if you are/want to become a contributor (no prerequisites other than having an active session key on supported platforms, no account needed either):
https://kemono.cr/importer/tutorial
https://kemono.cr/importer

Hope this helps, have a nice day.

Maybe this is the time for a lil bedtime story.

Once upon a time, chan.kemono.party and its Telegram group were a lively place. A request thread and a dedicated "generous thread" who would import for you were a common occurrence. Such a lovely time to live in.

Until a DMCA strike cast upon Kemono. First impact was a single artist has their entire posts removed on Kemono, it was not a big deal until many artists follow the trend. The first impact has caused many polarised opinion among the community, it was an unfortunate event that happened to Kemono, but what if Kemono ignored the DMCA request completely? Kemono actually did, and that caused the Second Impact. Second impact was the hosting provider for Kemono received a cease and desist. Kemono has undergo so many downtime due to their hosting provider is in legal trouble. And that was the last impact for Kemono to tolerate. Because of that, Admins have decided to ban any request threads to keep Kemono alive. Question to yourself, is it worth it to put Kemono's existence in danger to satisfy your requested post? Is your requested post even worth more than the whole monetary value that Kemono contributors have put into so far for a half of decade?

Having request threads banned is not something random. It has its own reason, and the reason is what makes Kemono alive.

Not only that, if you think about how the site works for more than about ten seconds, and then think about the people who are on this board for more than about ten seconds, it becomes pretty fucking obvious pretty fucking quickly why requesting is pretty fucking pointless.

Sometimes we forgot that:

our ability to reason != other's ability to reason

you might get that idea without even needing to know the history behind it, but others don't, and that's not really their fault

curiosity is good, especially curious why such thing is banned in the first place

and it's also a good way to tell that such thing exists today is not a bullshit, no bullshit stays long, try poop outside and see if it's still fresh for a year

The reason it's gone is because a minority of people kept abusing it and it got to the point the staff couldn't be bothered to clear all the spam anymore.

TLDR just another case of a small number of people ruining everything for everyone. Disappointing I know.
