My personal request is for M博士. I am having surprisingly a lot of trouble finding his stuff online. So if someone has him, it would be nice if you could do an import.

I've already said it a while back.
Yiff.party had a near-perfect form of requests, being:
If someone made one for certain artist, then it'd be added to the list.
If someone wanted the same artist, there was a voting system where people could boost that request.
There was no spam or screeching AFAIK.

As much as I can understand the issue with people being people, I'm willing to believe the admins could be bothered to take some of the blame, as their system was poorly executed.

Old requests would get buried, often replicated at different tiers, whether or not it's by the same user
The fact that it was a forum people could clutter it with literally anything, including stupid shit like religion, politics, LGBTQ+ bullshit, doom/trollposting, glownigger FBI pigshit posting CP, and the aforementioned screechbegging, and was often nuked out of either childish spite or for the safety, if one can call it that, for the site itself.

It was a 4chan dump inferno waiting to happen. I don't know why nobody bothered to see it coming.
I honestly believe a voting system for requests, much like the favorites system on the front page, would be/would've been better than the lazyslop forum route the admins went with.
Unfortunately, though, from what I could tell, it seemed the admins cared more about who THEY wanted imported more than anything, so any reasonable alternatives for a request option is often meet with a "go fuck yourself", "kill yourself", or one of the many other childish mannerisms they can vomit to keep their niche pornopoly running.

Both sides were children. Who knew?
