>>71758I don't think so.
The site were updated like a few times and importer dying then starts importing again all during time when the dev team went AWOL.

>>71764There is no evidence to begin with. The narrative of the site shutting down emerged from the fact that some domain names are set to expire in July, see
>>69918.
Apart from that its business as usual: There haven't been any fixes to the site since November of last year and apparently the ad-service of the site hasn't been functional for a while now, leading people to believe kemono is bleeding money right now.
Everything else is merely a product of speculation.
Personally I think it's hard to gauge. Last year kemono overhauled the API, relocated the serves and changed their domain from .su to .cr showing that people have been up to something in the recent past. Still getting absolutely no commentary, not even a fuck you, from anyone internal is a bit odd. Combine this with the fact that kemono is practically critical piracy infrastructure and the amount of panic this causes becomes somewhat reasonable.

>>71764>Does anyone have any evidence the staff went AWOL though?yes, it's called not being a retarded newfag (You).
whenever the issue thread hit the bump limit, the admin would remove it and make a new one and make one or a few posts in it.
he hasn't done so since september last year.

>>71768Setting up a replacement would be the easiest thing in the world given enough funding to rent a server somewhere. Iwara was shut down by their server provider without an opportunity to make backups just this year and was up and running again in about a month.
However, currently no effort is being made to organize and make this replacement. This decentralized shit over on the coomer board is not going to fly. People don't want to set up stuff, they want to browse a catalogue and maybe punch in their user keys into an importer if they are nice. As soon as they have to read some lines of text to figure out how to even access a single images they're not going to bother.
The most urgent thing to do now, if anyone even wants to make a difference, is getting a server with about 500TB of storage and mirroring the servers before they implode entirely. Everything else is secondary.

>>71771Sorry for being new here, I didn't know the chan was directly tied to the site. Thank you for taking the time to explain.
>>71773I see, thanks again. I'm guessing we'd need a lot of servers, not just one, and also some opsec and people with programming skills.

>>72446Exhentai is not a good source. Making an account for it is a pain, content is trash and they reserve the rights to permablock you without proofs.
Can't the guy upload the images instead to rule34.xxx or make a MEGA/Doc file of it and post the link here? Assfire can't IP drop it as Cygames would sue him to oblivion.

I use Kemono to read Gunpla/Warhammer 40K posts for customs.
We are not the same.

>>72632As long as you're not the anon who has no idea what a child molester and pedophilia are, I see no issue with that. Kemono isn't just for porn and reading usually is good for your brain so thanks for contributing for people who like either kind of stuff or both.
Yeah
>>72556 that's you. Calling people pedos for the lulz is the new trend in 2026 so you do it you. Best of luck to you when you meet a victim of real abuse in real life if you're doing the funny, you'll need it (or even better - a rapist, bonus points if the meeting location is in jail).

>>72676When a 60-year-old woman chuckles and says that's cute, guess you're going to call her a pedophile or say she has dementia.
Jesus, anon, seek therapy or just grow up. You sound like a kid who never grew past 5 and has severe reality vs fiction issues. For your own good and the sake of others, please don't go to the movies or play games, you may end up killing someone and blaming something for it.
>>72684I legitimately have no idea what's with this trend. Is it just the US or is the whole planet doomed and filled with brainwashed individuals who lost their mind to some kind of derealization cult?

>>72689>'shit that never fucking happened'>see, if I just deliberately fundamentally misunderstand why people are generally repulsed by child rape cartoons, don't they sound delusional?Yeah, actually, maybe I see your point now. Makes total sense(!)
>>72684That's nice that you want to give condolences and all, but I don't think what you described is actually a real social phenomenon
