I guess I should count myself lucky my account didn't get suspended despite trying to upload stuff around the time they started cracking down. Is there a preferred way to scrape stuff for my personal archives?

gallery-dl. just slowly i guess?

 No.71066

Jesus, that's why we do not get any fanbox data since last week. Were fucked up

Will kemono.cr disappear?

>>71065
Are you able to scrape the text with that as well?

 No.71069

It was certainly convenient, but scraping data directly from the session was going too far.

Perhaps the old-fashioned web archive or torrent is the better option after all.

 No.71070

there's Ktoolbox that's more reliably scrapping all the thing that are left inside kemono, but idk if it's just me but some file from some artist, fanbox and patreon keep failing when downloading

sorry accidental double post

And we will never know if a workaround is possible because the site is dead

 No.71074

my account was banned last year
was frequently uploading because one creator also frequently uploads/deletes his work
as they're not allowed by their agency and someone has faced lawsuit for it
he does it and was never "caught", like get his account warned by pixiv or something

 No.71075

If the admins weren’t dead this would actually be good because they’re literally telling us what they did to prevent scraping. Like just outright telling people what to do for a workaround.

 No.71076

Once again, I am reminded on how retarded it was to create a Twitter account for this site. Even though it was inevitable, that dumbass admin speedran us to our doom.

it's because the jew and their cattle like the chinks, trannies and pinoys are DDoSing the site now

 No.71096

Hello, newfags. Reminder that >>71076 is either the Jew or its cattle.

Only the Jew and its cattle hate sharing.

They'll spam all sorts of retarded lies to discourage people from sharing, like how if no one knew about the site that the site would be thriving with new user submissions.

Hello newfags. I am a parrot paid by SA, Meowsync, Shinonome, Meus Artis and Usah 'Sojamee to spread misinformation.

Share your session keys and give me all of your money. That is all.

PS: No need to import our Discords, we already do it routinely and you need the proper role anyway

 No.71103

fanbox will always be incompetent.

they can't even ban one of the retards who uploads shit from "114514beastman" on exhentai and steals bank cards to re-upload new content on fanbox within seconds.

 No.71105

>to spread misinformation

schlomo trying to not lie like a retard by e.g. projecting itself onto others challenge failed.

shouldn't you be raping the gentile kids you kidnapped in palestine and dragged to your dungeons instead of shitposting on a dead forum on the internet?

The entertainment and publishing industries treat every unauthorized copy as a lost sale. But that math only works when you're a retard for deluding yourself that people would have paid for it if they couldn't read paywalled information without paying. That's not how it plays out in real life.

Those people simply weren't going to buy it. Maybe it's too expensive, not available in their country, or not something they'd spend money on. So when companies tally up their "losses," they're often counting people who were never really customers to begin with. Taking it away from them doesn't move those people to the checkout page, it means they move on.

There's also something to be said for how sharing paywalled information actually spreads awareness. A lot of content, especially smaller or foreign titles, builds its entire fanbase through people sharing and discovering it outside of official channels. That kind of organic reach is hard to manufacture, and it often translates into real revenue down the line through merchandise, sequels, licensing, and people who eventually do pay.

And there's research to support this. A large study commissioned by the European Union found no real evidence that sharing paywalled information cuts into legitimate sales in a meaningful way. The data even pointed in the opposite direction.

Corporations counting these losses also conveniently ignore the value that comes from having a bigger, more engaged audience.

What history has actually shown is that when content is priced fairly, easy to access, and available in the right places, sharing paywalled information tends to drop. A lot of the time, it exists because there's a gap in what the market is offering, not because people have some deep commitment to getting things for free.

Kemono was scraping too aggressively. The owner was probably using more than one session key from the same IP address, and those IP addresses were likely all flagged as VPN/proxies by services that Fanbox use.

Fanbox says they banned 375 session keys because Kemono used them. I always knew there weren't that many importers on Kemono but good to know to have it confirmed now.

All of this can be easily circumvented.

First, stop aggressively scraping. Fanbox tells you when a post was edited or created and you don't need to be subscribed to access that information.

Secondly, either:

A) Kemono subscribes to the creators. Use ad revenue or money sent in by people. People who send in money decides which creator their money goes to. Have a progress bar for every creator so people know how much money is needed to be sent in. The Jew and its cattle is going to screech at this idea because it's an idea that has been implemented before and actually works (yiff.party did it).

B) The person who supplies the session key sets up a proxy and lets Kemono connect to the subscription from it. This is highly risk as the session key supplier can do a MITM. The Jew and its cattle will likely support this idea as it will allow them to upload malware to Kemono and ruin the site from within.

So go with option A.

in mid february, fanbox started blocking my session key when i used a local importer and they stopped doing it last week. i was using a VPN.

you can find people bringing it up on repos for local importers.

Anon how can you live with yourself being so based
The sad part is most retards won't even be able to decipher the help you've just spoonfed.

Maybe grow a brain instead of posting the same thing in every thread, fetus. It's like you're a jew yourself. Oh wait you are.

 No.71144

Kek so as of right now only discord and patreon (doesnt even work that well) are up?
This site is as good as dead. Back to manually creating exhentai galleries I guess, fuck that's tedious…

 No.71154

>>71144
i can do it for you and i'll send you a script that saves the files and everything else about the post, only goes after new/updated posts to make it harder for fanbox to detect you, and copies the new/updated posts to a zip file which you'll then send to me. i can make the script delete the zip file after it creates a torrent or uploads the zip file to a file hosting service.

it'll look something like this when it scraped a post:
./creator 10239
./creator 10239/2015-05-01 32849242/1.jpg
./creator 10239/2015-05-01 32849242/2.jpg
./creator 10239/2015-05-01 32849242/3.jpg

And this site's fully unauthorized

 No.71187

This. A lot of creators don't give a fuck about piracy and it's not because they're wealthy as fuck.

Those butthurt gatekeeping furries pretending they're poor when they're swimming in money from adoptables and YCH are the problem. Kill them with fire.

 No.71191

>>71179
And those creators are what i respect. Sometimes piracy has helped profits in the long run, because of creators not being as stingy.
And people willfully wanting to support from them instead of stealing.

Which is why i also hate any creators that ruin their art with watermarks.
Not that there's anything to look at from the users that use them, watermarks just remove the remaining appeal they thought they had.

 No.71193

>>71187
Oh yeah, the fucking YCH and Adoptable virus.

I do not care what anyone says, adoptables are fucking stupid.
Why buy for an OC you'll quite possibly never see in the same style ever again?
It's just furries trading money with other furries.
