An informant has confirmed with Kuro that Seiso is indeed deceased. We do not know if it will be gone forever but it is looking that way.

Yeah, but we NEED secondary site. When I learned of kemono, yiff.party was still alive and well. I'm a backup nut, so I started uploading here immediately. Then, yiff admin stole money for the server and ran away, and oops, suddenly no yiff. But there was kemono. I mean, it barely worked for like half a year, but now it's more or less okay. But if Kemono admin goes to the dark side, we need a third site.

I do not enjoy the death of archives on the internet in any case, and Kemono being the sole active force in this entire thing is worrying, but I cannot help but chuckle.
Maybe next time (IF THERE IS A NEXT TIME LOL) people will be less interested in shilling and partywars, and more interested in the health of the scene as a whole.

1. whoever you’re talking about does not exist. from what I remember, op just wanted people to synchronize their import to both seiso and kemono. he also stated that having a backup import may help reduce the risk of loosing the data entirely. op does not force people to entirely move their import to seiso.
2. it is clear that everyone agree that seiso has the best ui and a much stable infrastructure. it is likely to see any problem face by seiso. unlike kemono, seiso is much more faster in download speed and import yet most of us did not see any issue faced by the import alone.
3. it is sad to known that seiso just gone without any noice or announcements. seiso just gone in one day and we was not be able to contact kuro whatsoever.
and I can feel the same situation could happen on kemono as well. since admin just suddenly left most of the group, a lot of people who face an issue wasn’t be able to tell him personally since the mods and sysadmin just kept on making fun on them from my personal of view. this is odd since admin just leave without any sensible reason.
not to mention that kemono has face a much more issue that before. like both the admin and devs don’t really want to fix it.
