Ignore the anon troll above. This has been an ongoing bug for a few weeks. Some newly added creators’ profiles are missing for some reason, but the posts themselves are imported correctly, and the posts are linked to the creator’s ID just fine. You can verify this by accessing the post without the user ID, like this: /patreon/post/139376231, and the server will redirect you to the full URL with the user ID.

Nobody knows when the site admins will return to fix the issue, but in the meantime you can just keep importing—the posts are still imported and stored on the servers. Here’s an image from your post to prove it’s imported correctly:

Removing user ID does nothing for me. Still redirecting to a "missing" post with an error. Can you elaborate more ?

The fact it redirects you to the full URL proves the server has the information on which creator this post ID belongs to, thus confirming the post is correctly associated with the creator.

To bypass the "Creator not found" error and view the posts in this state, you need to intercept the request to the "profile" API and return an empty JSON (just {} is enough), this will allow your browser to display the content of the post.

I'm new here how do I reply to you, well idk I think I'm doing the right way.
well I wanted to say thank you saying that, it eases me to know cuz I imported about 5 creators which aren't showing up, none were imported before, all have a lot of posts, so I was like "damn did it all go to waste?" good to know it's still importing, thank you! I don't know tho why some creators from zero imported sucessfully (and some are still being imported) while others aren't.
At first I thought it was the /cw/ that some creators have before their patreon username, but some creators with /cw/ seems to be imported just fine too so idk anymore
now I wonder do I just press verification and new reply or what here

How does one do that?

Stuff like Fiddler/Charles would probably be your best bet on a browser, or you can use shell-driven API calls for more convenience (doing API fiddling in browsers is not very practical and the responses look weird too). Hopefully Kaban will be able to give you a more helpful and easier to understand solution, but that's all that comes to mind at the moment here, sorry.

You need a web debugging tool and the know-how to use it—it’s not something that can be explained in just a few lines. And I can’t fix it with a userscript (it doesn’t have the power to intercept and alter web requests). Maybe a Chrome extension could, but I’m too lazy to write one because…

I’ve been updating my personal userscript, which broke due to some changes in the Kemono frontend. Since the frontend has changed, does that mean the site admins are back? I hope they get this bug fixed soon.

Technically SA (the admin, singular) is forced to come back when the issues shitposting thread (current one is >>59008 ) hits 500 posts but he could also automate the creation of a new sticky with AI lol.

The dev (also singular I think) might have indeed changed something, but both are ghosts. You can try checking the repo changes at git.kemono.cr but fuck if I know if it's what the prod is currently using, beta.kemono.party has been kinda dead for a while (for the ones with elevated access to it).

Fair enough. The way you dropped it casually I thought maybe it was a simple thing I was overlooking. I'll wait with fingers crossed for the dev to fix it unless I get really bored.

So I wrote a Chrome extension to work around the "Creator not found" error.
Use at your own risk.
